The British imposed heavy tax duties on the colonies as a means to alleviate their debts (Turner, Frederick, Allan & Bogue 66). Harsh laws were enforced upon the American Colonies, particularly those under British rule, without any opportunity for opposition since they lacked representation in the parliament. Furthermore, the British possessed the authority to control maritime operations, preventing the colonists from engaging in trade with other nations without British consent.

There was a lack of effort in collecting taxes, but once the bill was approved by the parliament, tax collection laws were enforced. Britain began releasing revenues that came from tax collection from the colonies. The parliament also passed a law to prohibit the use of colonial currencies in the country (Turner, Frederick, Allan & Bogue 12). The colonists rejected the tax policies because they believed they

should not have to pay taxes since the tax obligation laws were seen as British Taxation Laws imposed by the British Parliament against the wishes of their colonial governments. The British colonies protested against these policies as they saw them as a violation of their rights as British citizens. In response, the colonists boycotted British goods.

All these incidents exacerbated the situation, fueling animosity between the colonists and the British due to their divergent views on taxation policies. The colonies accused the British of employing tax laws as a means to deliberately undermine them. The Massachusetts protest served as a vivid expression of their frustration. Disguised as Native Americans, the protesters clandestinely boarded ships in the harbor and discarded imported goods like tea into the water. This act came to be known as the Boston Tea Party.

behavior of some residents in Massachusetts, the British government became frustrated and decided to close all operations in Boston Port. This act was triggered by Massachusetts dumping imported goods into the sea, which further exacerbated the tensions and intensified the conflict. This strained their relationship, as the British government viewed it as a disrespectful act. (Turner, Frederick, Allan & Bogue 55) In response, the colonists called for the first Continental Congress meeting to discuss the establishment of the United States and oppose British rule. Massachusetts emerged as a leader among the rebels against British rule.

Initiating a revolutionary government and forming militias were key steps taken by the colonists to defend against the increasing presence of British military forces within the colony’s territory. As the colonist militia grew in strength, it became unstoppable for the British army (Wicksell & Knut 23). In April 1775, British soldiers were ordered by Massachusetts to advance towards Concord, which resulted in a confrontation with American Militia at Lexington. This incident marked the beginning of the American revolution and gained popularity among militias. Initially seen as a small conflict within the British Empire, it later became the turning point leading to the colonists declaring independence (Wicksell ; Knut 42). The Continental Army faced numerous challenges during the war.

One of the issues during the war was the constant supply of all the necessary items for the Army soldiers. This included money, organization problems, and transportation difficulties. To address this, the Continental Army established a department called Quartermaster. Its role was to manage and distribute the required items to the soldiers on the battlefield. The department relied on each state and its citizens

to contribute clothing, food, blankets, and other supplies. Initially, the department faced disorganization and numerous challenges. The Saratoga battle is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in the war by historians.

The war expanded globally as the United States forces emerged as a dominant force in the ongoing conflict between various states vying for supremacy. However, as the battle between the British government and America was nearing victory, other countries such as France expressed their perspective and sought to bring an end to the fight. Ultimately, France became interested in the American cause and promptly decided to collaborate with them.

In summary, the British ultimately triumphed in the war against the colonists, which enabled them to resume their usual activities. Consequently, they could freely engage in market transactions such as barter trade and partake in various cultural events. The key to their success lay in comprehending the necessary military objectives required for victory against the Americans.

During the battle confrontation between King George III, Parliament, and the colonies, a political solution could have been reached. However, conflict of interest played a detrimental role and caused the loss of all arrangements and organization for this critical operation (Wicksell ; Knut 22). The entire battle was marred by regrets, with stakeholders expressing their wish that the British government had paid attention to allies like Edmund Burke, who advocated for respect and conciliation towards the Americans. This could have prevented further embarrassment (Wicksell ; Knut 49).

It was a challenging time for the innocent residents of those regions. However, the parties involved in the war of supremacy consistently prioritized protecting their territories.
