500 Startups, a startup accelerator and investor specializing in early-stage companies, has revealed the list of firms that have been selected to be part of its program.
Out of the 29 firms, five companies involved in bitcoin have been selected for the startup accelerator in Mountain View.
The list of five firms includes Coinalytics, GogoCoin, Neuroware, Monetsu, and Bonafide.
Accepted firms will have the chance to obtain funding up to $250,000 and gain from the knowledge of industry professionals who will offer mentorship and guidance in various areas including product creation, business strategy, and increasing brand awareness.
500 Startups, led by Dave McLure, a former executive at PayPal, has made investments in multiple startups to demonstrate its dedication to diversity within its portfolio of investments.

Lytics has recently emerged as one of the leading bitcoin firms that offer analytics solutions. They are dedicated to producing comprehensive research reports on the bitcoin industry through their expertise in 'big data'. As part of their acceptance into the prestigious 500 startups program, they have secured a funding of $100,000. Excitingly, they have announced that their product will go live in August.
Bonafide is developing fraud prevention tools for bitcoins and other crypto currencies, with a focus on community-based solutions. The main objective of their product is to provide a rating system for recipients of bitcoins, including non-profit organizations accepting donations and service providers, in order to determine their authenticity.
