Goodrich, J.M. (2010). "Human-Tiger conflict: a review and call for comprehensive plans". Integrative zoology. 5 (4): 300–312

In his book, Goodrich talks about the human- tiger conflict. It is an important review on how to solve the conflict that has caused the death of the Tigers and human beings. The book looks at the need to have the tigers in the zoo to avoid further conflicts as the tigers were attacking even the domestic animals, a point that did not go well with the people. It actually relates the source of conflicts between the tigers and the people.
The research indicated that the conflict often results in the removal of tigers from their habitat, the book also indicates that this conflict has resulted in the negative attitude towards the conservation of the tigers. The study is an important part in my research as it tackles

the ways to increase the number of the tigers through conservation. The research gives me the ideas of how to improve the relationship between the people and the tiger. It actually supports the conservation by proposing the various ways to double the number of the tigers through conservation.

Abbott, Brant, and G. Cornelis van Kooten. (2010). "Can Domestication of Wildlife Lead to Conservation? The Economics of Tiger Farming in China." Ecological Economics 70:721-728.

the killing of the tigers.

The book is an important resource as it supports the keeping of the tigers in the zoo so as to avoid the danger they are facing from the poachers. It gives support to my research on the reasons as to why the tigers should be kept in a zoo and be protected from the harsh environment. In their research, they express the need to keep tigers in the zoo as they claims that tigers are not afraid of even fellow animals
Seidensticker, John (Jan 2010). "Saving Wild Tigers". Integrative Zoology. 5 (4): 289–299. doi:10.1111/j.1749-4877.2010.00214.x

Tiger poaching and trafficking in India (November 2014): Estimating rates of occurrence and detection over four decades, Koustubh Sharma,Belinda Wright,Tito

The article by seidensticker indicates that actually the animals are quite important to us and thus it is not a crime to have them in the home. The authors also talks about the diversity of these animals in our ecosystem. The peer-review indicates that as much as we may wish to have all the animals in our homes, some are hostile and others too big to be kept at home.

The main aim of his book is to campaign for the survival of the tigers, an idea I consider important in my research as I try to examine whether to have the Tiger should be kept in the zoo or just be left in the wilderness to varnish as they are being threatened by the human. In this research I get the ideas about the rate at which the threat is reducing the number of tigers. The book also helps my research with approximations on the number of tigers that exist at the moment and

what is predicted in the year 2020.
