After subsequent murders occurred later on, Brice Reprieving's arrest unfolded through various events. Allegedly leaving the crime scene house and going to a nearby location afterward, he proceeded to set fire to his shirt which had an identification paper bearing his name as incriminating evidence. Concerned neighbors witnessed this action and immediately contacted both the fire department and police authorities. While extinguishing the fire caused by Reprieving's act, law enforcement discovered his name from the burned shirt's incriminating piece of paper. This information led them to discover the suspect who was found shirtless inside his car at his home.
Brad McCormick discovered the bodies upon visiting the house due to concerns about his mother's absence from work. Noticing signs of disorder, Brad promptly contacted the police. The exact cause of tension between Reprieving and Jessica remains unclear, though some family members suspect that Timmy, the mother, disapproved of their relationship.
