What is Verbal And Written?
Verbal and written communication are two important forms of communication. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, which makes it necessary to use both in order to effectively communicate.Verbal communication is the process of exchanging information through spoken language. It is a powerful way of conveying feelings and ideas, as it can convey emotion and tone that cannot be replicated through writing. Verbal communication also allows for more efficient feedback than written forms, as the conversation can go back-and-forth between participants until a solution or understanding is achieved. However, verbal conversations also have their drawbacks; there can be misunderstandings due to accents or unfamiliar vocabularies, and there may not be an accurate record of what was said if not documented in some way. Written communication involves sending messages with the use of words on paper or other media such as emails or text messages. Written communication is advantageous because it allows for careful consideration before sending a message; corrections can be made if needed, ensuring accuracy when communicating complex concepts or instructions. Written communications also create a formal record that can later be used for reference purposes such as contracts, policies, etc., however this form of communication does not allow for immediate feedback so replies may take some time depending on the circumstances. Both verbal and written communications should be used in order to ensure clear understanding among all parties involved in any situation where communicating an idea or message is essential. Each form has its own advantages which makes them both important components when trying to effectively convey information from one person to another.
