What is Later That Day?
Later that day, the sun was setting and the sky was painted a soft shade of pink. The cool air made me shiver as I walked down the street. I could feel the energy of the city in it’s hustle and bustle and yet, still remained so peaceful to me. As I continued my stroll, my senses were filled with a variety of sights and sounds; from car horns to chirping birds, from vibrant graffiti art to busy traffic. It felt like any other day in this bustling metropolis but something felt different about it today something special. I eventually arrived at my destination an old cafe that had been around for many years now. As I stepped inside, I was immediately embraced by an atmosphere of warmth and familiarity. There was a large group gathered at one end of the cafe who looked to be discussing some important matters while others quietly sipped their coffees in contemplation or just contentment with life in general. The barista greeted me with a friendly smile as he handed me my coffee order and soon after, I found myself grabbing a seat near one of the windows where I could look out onto the street below and watch as people went about their daily lives; running errands or meeting up with friends for drinks or dinner dates. At this moment, everything around me felt so familiar yet so new all at once – like it had all been here before but somehow changed enough that it didn’t quite feel like home anymore either – not completely anyway..but maybe that’s what made it beautiful – knowing that things can change without having to completely abandon them altogether; knowing that although life can sometimes seem monotonous, there is always something special just around the corner waiting to be discovered if we take time to look for it.
