In terms of maintaining a healthy diet and slimming down, Subway has become one of the most prosperous fast-food chains. In contrast to McDonald's or Chipotle, Subway's attractive prices and assortment of nutritious food choices have played a part in their substantial profits. This gives me an advantage as I have something unique to offer. Additionally, being located in a downtown area provides advantages over non-downtown restaurants.

Downtown countries usually house numerous offices and have a high concentration of workers. These workplaces employ white-collar professionals who often take their lunch break simultaneously. Offering a discount to employees who come in large groups could potentially give my restaurant an advantage. Additionally, the installation of flat-screen TVs displaying news updates and economic information is generally beneficial.

My priority is to appeal to professionals in office jobs. It is crucial for me to provide a space where they can relax and unwind during their break, considering that these workers are typically located in specific areas. Downtown areas also attract children and families who are interested in exploring the city and visiting its attractions. With Texas having warm temperatures all year round, I anticipate people stopping by my restaurant for a meal or drink. College students are more inclined to consume information online rather than in physical print; it is simply a more logical approach. When considering the procurement of resources for my business, one significant factor that can impact it positively or negatively is the cost of transporting materials to my food shop.

Initially, my idea was to transport fresh items daily by air from Chicago. However, this option would be both inefficient and costly. It is more logical for me to obtain these items from a truck that transports goods on a weekly basis. The items should be specifically imported from Chicago, as they must be trustworthy Chicago food products.

When businesses hire employees who are not part of the owner's family or close circle, it often leads to staff members who simply do their job without necessarily enjoying or participating in the business's endeavors. In other words, these employees may fulfill their responsibilities but lack the passion that family members would have if they were running the business. The television panels I have installed throughout my Deli serve an important purpose as they cater to various types of individuals, such as different demographic groups.

The professional with a white-collar job would enjoy watching television programs that cater to their interests, while the sports fan would prefer watching television that aligns with their preferences. By transforming the food shop into a place where people can relax and unwind, we can essentially make it similar to a Starbucks where individuals can unwind and loosen up. Eventually, places like these become popular hangouts for people, much like how bars become places where individuals can

relax, watch television, enjoy drinks, and have a meal. Additionally, it is essential to provide Wi-Fi in the food shop, considering the prevalent role of technology in our society and the fact that it is a college town.

The expectation is that people will own laptops and other portable electronic devices. Leadership plays a vital role in every organization and can enhance efficiency. In my company, having a skilled leader is extremely significant, and since the business belongs to me, I will probably take on this responsibility.

From my point of view, I find it more logical to personally greet customers and take their orders. I have observed multiple instances where employees who are unfamiliar with the business or the food being served end up taking orders. Occasionally, a customer may ask a specific question that requires prior knowledge about a particular food item or product in order to provide an answer. In such cases, having at least some understanding is essential. As a customer myself, I have experienced this scenario several times.

When a teller is uncertain, it could be because they don't know what "tastes good," "is spicy," or "is mild," etc. Effective leadership is essential for ensuring smooth business operations because there should be someone in charge who can provide guidance when employees are unsure about completing or proceeding with a specific product.

However, if I were to open a food shop, the health inspection would regulate the freshness of certain products. For instance, if regulations prohibit beef from being outside for too long or traveling for extended periods, I may need to find faster transportation methods. This could mean using air transportation, which would result in higher costs.

The main questions I would ask myself in this situation are "How are customers reacting to the price increases at the grocery store?" Another question I could ask would be "What kind of customers are still visiting the grocery store?" (Such as, are they white-collar professionals, students, etc.?)

Can I control the circumstances surrounding the problem of increasing gas prices? In relation to providing reliable service, a possible theory is that if I offer good service and establish a personal connection with customers, they will return to my food shop. To test this theory, I could ask, "How often did this customer return to the food shop?" Unfortunately, I have no control over the conditions regarding rising gas prices.

I consider this situation as something beyond my control, so there is no way for me to accurately test it. The only way to truly determine if this has an impact is to conduct a test to see if increasing gasoline prices leads me to raise the prices of

the products I sell at the grocery store. Then, I can analyze daily sales and observe how many customers come and go as my prices rise. Additionally, I could informally observe the type of customers coming in and hopefully identify a trend in the ones who continue to come and those who do not – if there is a change in them. Circumstances leading up to my second issue could include a decrease in interest to work at the restaurant due to monotonous service and repetitive tasks.

There is a lack of enthusiasm and general apathy towards clients. Although I want to acknowledge clients, I realize that my own apathetic behavior could be changed within myself. However, I cannot directly control the apathetic behavior of other employees. I can only encourage them to improve and provide exceptional service.

Possibly the repetitive work performed by one employee could be redistributed among different employees to prevent one person from constantly making the same thing and losing interest. It is much more concerning when an employee demonstrates apathy in their behavior and work, compared to myself, as I am responsible for the business and need to address any issues that may harm it. However, it is challenging to instill this mindset in another employee, as they may only focus on their own tasks and struggle to understand the passion I have for my job. The best way to demonstrate this would be to observe myself slacking off in customer service and correct my behavior, while also observing one of my employees slacking off and noting how they are able to improve their customer service skills and how long it takes

them to get back on track.

To further investigate whether this is an issue with drones or simply a general lack of engagement in the profession, my first approach would be to switch employees around different positions within the food shop and observe their behavior. If there is a positive change, it would indicate that they were just getting lost in the monotony of their job and needed a change. However, if the employee continues to behave as they are currently, it suggests that they are simply not willing to put in the effort to be effective employees.
