Supporting initiatives that guarantee the success of programs aimed at preventing individuals from losing their hard-earned assets due to medical bills during desperate times is crucial. Furthermore, individuals nearing retirement age should have equal flexibility in fundamental benefits as they possess with other assets.
According to the National Bureau of Economic Research, the affordable Medicare program has supported over 18 million Americans. Its goal is to provide healthcare access to unemployed individuals without job insurance. Despite criticism suggesting that it has not adequately served impoverished and middle-class citizens, it should be recognized that its purpose is to
benefit all people. As a result, it is vital for Congress and the American population to show their support for the program if they genuinely want to assist those who are less fortunate.
Health care cost sharing is a sincere way for everyone to contribute and feel satisfied. It represents the America we have always wanted, where inclusivity is valued. We should strive to be compassionate and realistic at the same time, as this will lead us to achieve remarkable results together.
