To all the red-headed who have grown up together and get a job
Why do you think Spaulding wants Wilson to so badly join the league?
Because he was a red-headed man
Describe the work Mr. Wilson must do for the League. What exactly is it? When must he do it? What is supposedly the purpose? What happens if he leaves the office during working hours?
Its 4 hours a day, every morning he came in at 10 am and left at 2 pm. Is to copy out of the Encyclopedia Britannica. If he doesn’t show up to work he loses all of his money.
Why was Mr. Wilson surprised that the job was actually real?
Because it was hard to believe that a simple job like that and to get paid that well was surprising

Sherlock and wilson are waiting in the basement of the bank. The bank is holding a lot of French money, more than they have ever had before

At the end of the story, Holmes explains to Watson how he guessed the truth. What was the purpose of Clay’s hiring Mr. Wilson to copy the Encyclopedia? What was Clay doing in the cellar? How did Holmes know Clay would attempt to rob the bank that night?
Clay created the RHL to get Wilson out of the house for a few hours a day. Clay would then dig in the tunnel to develop his photo in the dark room. Sherlock knew that they would rob that night. The RHL abruptly ended, it was a Saturday night so they would have 2 days to escape.
