-mosaic of Christ enthroned on globe between two angels, Saint Vitalis, and Bishope Ecclesius - real gold & lapis -San Vitalis Offered martyr's plan being handed loral wreath (symbol of martyrdom -Bishop Ecclesius w/ model of the church on the right -Very flat no depth

- Justinian, Bishop Maximianus, and attendants mosaic from the north wall of the apse - honoring bishop that finished the church for him

- Theodora and attendants, mosaic from the south wall of the apse, San Vitale, Ravenna, Italy ca. 547 - she is holding the other part of the Eucharist baptismal fountain - not actual halo, background is gold too but they became saints
