From my viewpoint, psychoactive drugs were originally created for medicinal purposes. However, their usage poses risks to both the body and mind. Celebrities like Michael Jackson and Jerald Levert have been known to misuse drugs, possibly due to depression or the pressures associated with fame. Unfortunately, these individuals are no longer alive because of their drug abuse. This raises concerns about numerous unknown people who also engage in drug misuse but seldom receive media attention. It is crucial to offer assistance to those struggling with substance abuse problems, particularly those who are still alive. The substances that worry me most include alcohol, methamphetamines, and amphetamines - including oxycontin - which have gained popularity on the streets.

ctions are problematic and no addiction is worse than another. However, there are some who argue that crack cocaine addiction is the most severe. While recreational drugs may not be illegal, they do have an impact on both the mind and body. Therefore, anything beyond normal or excessive use or abuse should be considered illegal. In my view, a heroin addict should not be seen as inferior to a marijuana user since both involve making bad choices. Although I am not familiar with substances like ecstasy tabs and LSD, users of marijuana, prescription drugs, and crack cocaine have definitely had an impact on me.

Compulsive disorders, such as shopping, overeating, gambling, and others, are addictive behaviors or problems that necessitate help for those involved in them. It is important to recognize these behaviors as addictions.
