started building a new image of a united South Africa.Nelson mandela started developing health issues and became very frail, after that in 2009 july,18 it was declared Nelson Mandela International Day.Nelson ,Rolihlahla Mandela died in December 5,2013 but his legacy still lives on.

Even after apartheid ended the history or legacy of it can still be seen today in africa especially in structural issues like education or even distribution of labor.Education even though Standards are improving there is still only 48% of students that actually finish to grade 12 most of the other percent drop out in other grade levels like 10th or 11th.Students are getting discouraged because of the hype of percentage of students passing even though the needed percent to pass is 30%.The highest level of pass to get a bachelor’s degree is 50% and only 30.6% percent of students actually pass. The system that they have barely moves the students beyond what they know.Students also have lack of reading.Even after apartheid african schools still fail today.

Housing is another big problem that africa has today and has had. They moved land outside of the cities where people lived. They don’t consider difference between needs of kids and adults. If the poverty line is less than 1.90 they are considered poor.Food expenditures are based on who shares the meal and how much it cost to make the meal. They are also trying to reduce child poverty.Allocation of house resources matters to some states and to other states those thing may not matter.

Africa has gained many states which hasn’t helped the wealth distribution or equal of incomes Many structural Adjustments programs are being put in states.many African countries have corruption which affects

african development.even though they have a lot of natural resources African countries are shrinking in relative and absolute terms in recent years.
