My desire to become a nurse dates back when I was still a toddler. I grew up in a philanthropic family whereby my parents were widely known for their generosity and the desire to help everyone in need of their support. As a child, I liked the way the community treasured my parents. Their smiles after receiving the various types of helps was one of the things that made me realize the significance of helping fellow human beings. It made me feel as if man was made to stand with one another during thin and thick. ...y I decided to become a nurse; to earn from a job that enhances the life of other people directly. According to Blais (2015), one of the core roles of a nurse is being a caregiver. In the nursing profession, I want to be the best caregiver ever.
I have set a number of academic goals that I want to achieve by the time I am done with my nurse training. To begin with, I want to master all the concepts that relate to the nursing profession by the time I am through with the nursing course. To realize this goal, I am planning to ensure that I am always attentive during all the lessons so as to grasp the entire content from my lecturers. In addition, I plan to be competent in the nursing course by attending all the classe
not only punctually but also consistently. Consistent and punctuality in the attendance of lectures will help me grasp all the ideas related to the nursing profession. My second academic goal is to be the best nursing student in my class. I need to achieve this by doing more research in the field of nursing. Furthermore, I shall achieve this academic goal by subscribing to different nursing websites. From these sites, I shall do enough research on how to take care of my patients, diagnose and treat their different ailments. In addition to this, shall be the best student through having attachments in different hospitals from where I shall gain practical nursing experience.
On the other hand, I have also set different professional goals that I intent to achieve the moment I become a nurse. To begin with, I want to be among the best nurses in offering patient guidance, diagnosing and treatment of different types of sicknesses. I shall achieve this through learning from the mistakes of my predecessors, requesting help from my colleagues when necessary and indulging in deep research on the various successful cases in the nursing profession. This will help me not repeat the same mistakes that my predecessors.
My personal experience has greatly influenced the different academic and professional goals that I have come up with. My desire to help other people who are in various problems is the core drive to my passion to be the best in the nursing profession. I have helped many with financial and moral problems and I have felt how good it is to see people smile after a long period of going through a problem.
If I
am granted the opportunity to study in your esteemed institution, I shall uphold the highest level of disciple and abide by the institution’s regulations. In addition to this, I shall ensure the highest level of professionalism in all the hospitals I shall be attached during my practical attachments.
