The research is regarding the impact of the socialization among the nurse. The study found out that the new graduates find had in bridging gap between the theory and the practical ordeals. Also, there are cases of bullying and lateral violence in the healthcare profession. Studies have shown that socialization sometimes results in negative impact on nurses. The negative socialization can take place in a form of bullying and lateral violence. Bullying refers to an act of abuse regarding the responsibility conducted by a nurse or group of nurses against other nurses or act of a gross abuse that result in insulting, malicious, and intimidating behavior.

Bullying and lateral violence are frequent cases in healthcare professional, with some of those cases reported to have serious negative results. Negative socialization usually takes place between nurses to nurses, and between

nurses and the patients. The negative socialization that may include cases of bullying and violence is a toxic disruptive behavior that makes hard for the health professional to attract new competent and to retain the existing nurses.Healthcare provider does not accept any socialization that results in any violence.
Lateral violence and bullying between the nurses or between nurses and patients should not be given any chance in the healthcare professional practice environment. The position of the health centers is zero tolerance of either bullying or horizontal violence (Huston, 2006).Behavior intervention, education and professional code of conduct should be implemented based on healthcare field to help nurses get the lead of such disruptive cases (Jost, 1997).

The intention of such situations is to assist nurses and newly trained nurses to perform efficiently and enhance a healthy relationship with other professional in the same field. Besides, it can help the professional to enact adequate guidelines, educational programs and codes of conduct to bring to an end the disturbing behavior from the professional healthcare workplace (Burton & Ormrod, 2011). The other goal is to come up guidelines for management of disruptive behavior when bullying and lateral violence takes place (Lohumi, 2015).This study, therefore, outlines in details the negative socializations that take place in a professional healthcare organization.
Negative socialization takes place into two forms, that is, first, bullying and further lateral violence. Bullying is termed as the act abuse of responsibility conducted by a nurse or group of nurses against other nurses or act of an outrageous abuse that results in insulting, malicious, and intimidating behavior when it take place, the offended person/ nurse feels susceptible, endangered, and seems disappointed (Lohumi,2015).

Bullying

is usually linked with an offender existing at the highest level of management, For instance, an executive nurse bullying a junior staff. Lateral violence is a description of emotional or verbal, or physical abuse of a worker within nursing (Burton & Ormrod, 2011). Besides, lateral violence can be an act regarding the aggression between a nurse and another nurse. Some of the lateral violence in healthcare profession is a verbal affront, infighting, scapegoating, undermining activities, non-verbal ambiguity, backstabbing, broken confidence, and failure to respect privacy (Huston, 2006).

Healthcare profession has always been associated with violence and bullying, especially to the newly promoted student nurses when they try to socialize with their seniors. Negative socialization compromises of the perception of the offended nurses either to resign or to remain in the profession (Lohumi, 2015).
The negative socialization that results in conflicts, therefore, results to bad reputation to the organizations, healthcare professionals, and patients, if the disruptive behavior and conflict will not be resolved can evoke unfavorably disturb quality and safety of healthcare. Also, it can result in the mass resignation of nurses making the situation even worse where there is a shortage of nurses in the field (Burton & Ormrod, 2011). Negative socialization leads to lowering nurses moral and the ability to perform well this makes it hard for healthcare professional to retain both new and permanent Workers.

In conclusion, the being a nurse as a profession is beyond the chain of business ordeals and the needed skills. This can be regarded as part of the socialization process. This process can be understood as noted in this work by internalization and growth of the career identity.it is important to

point out that professional socialization in nursing is fundamental in implicating students in such professional practices. The study, therefore, provided an understanding of the career socialization regarding nursing.to some extent; the study explored some elements from various dimensions among the registered nursed and also nursing students. In nursing, a sense of identity and personal belonging facilitates to professional socialization. In this regard, it is predicted that the management can consider these features are improving the nurse’s socialization. Nursing professional is, therefore, important concept pertaining nursing. This arises from the personal workplaces, the corroboration and also the existing relationship in the organization. Internalizing elements among nursing professional is crucial to the real career development. As such, the values offered a staunch foundation for the practice behavior. The nursing students are also subjected to the nursing values and practices in the course of their nursing program. The workplace burying as noted earlier in this study is a wanting issue which has influence in the nursing profession. The study noted it as verbal abuse, possible threats, humiliating or behaviors portraying intimidation emanating from the perpetrators interfering with the job. All this is meant to generate risk in health and victim safety. Bullying among nurses escalates feelings of defenselessness on the side of the victim which significantly demoralize their rights to dignity in their place of work.
