The venue for this event is simple in the schools playground. The permission of the head of year was needed, and parents consent was also required to let them know that there child is staying behind after school to play football.Five-a-side football tournament for year 9. This is another event that our group was fond of. This event would also be easy to organise but can take longer to organise as a lot more paper work is required and needed.

The group I am working with has decided to organise a eleven-a-side football match for 6th form students only. The football match will take place on 17th November 2008 after school in the schools playground.The kick off will be around 4. 00pm, as the school will need to be empty for availability of the playground, and so younger students have left for the day. As there will be a lot of students wanting to play we need to decide where the goals will be set up and the teams.

This will be done on the day of the match as we can tell how many players aside there we will. A trip to Thorpe Park was not chosen as the final decision on as after carful consideration it would not be possible in the time frame and financial situation of many of the student able to come. The main reason for this is the fact that the day out is considered very expensive costing from i?? 40- i??60, which is a lot of money for students to spend on one day and for one event. Another reason would be the high rate of people dropping out on the day of the event.

This is inevitable as it is a guaranty that people will drop out last minute for whatever reason. If people drop out in the last minute the ticket prices will have to increase as the cost to cover the expense of his/ her drop out. The ticket would also be expensive if only a few people go, as Thorpe Park offer cheaper tickets if lots are ordered at the same time. The main problem with this event is the price it cost per student, which is unlikely that we would get a good result.
