Undoubtedly, engaging in communication like this will help patients understand the qualities that nurses support. One way to demonstrate nurses' expertise to the public is by confidently performing duties and providing necessary patient care. The following anecdote will help patients understand nurses' daily responsibilities. Two weeks ago, I cared for a cancer patient and made sure to attentively listen to their response upon receiving the diagnosis.

As a nurse, my primary priority was to actively listen to the patient's needs and concerns. Throughout my shift, I consistently checked in with him to inquire about his well-being. In addition, I implemented a regular bathing schedule since he was unable to do it independently. Administering medication on time was also under my care.
