Alan Mulally’s, the CEO of Ford, has been a very effective in running the activities if the automotive company. The company had been facing several changes especially during the automotive company crisis between 2008 and 2010. He very much helped the company alive and up on its feet. Ford Motor Company was described in The American Icon as a symbol of American resilience. It also stated that Mulally’s leadership style would be applied on all types of organizations. (Hoff-man, 2012).

His personality and leadership traits are efficient. He downs himself to the lowest and learns from all sides including the company’s competitors.
