Firstly, in terms of finances, some teenage students allocate a significant portion of their allowance towards playing DOTA instead of using it to pay for tuition or purchase necessary resources. Furthermore, many teenagers engage in betting on the outcome of DOTA matches, essentially practicing gambling and involving money in their gameplay.
Playing this game has the potential to harm our eyes due to its high-quality color, brightness, and other visual elements. Although it is possible to adjust these settings, there is no guarantee that conditions like "far-sightedness" or "near-sightedness" can be prevented without the need for glasses. Additionally, becoming addicted to DOTA can have a negative impact on academic performance. For example, my
younger brother spent too much money on this game instead of focusing on his studies and saving his allowance.
However, my younger brother is neglecting my failing grades because he is too focused on how to always win in the game of DOTA. After two years, I finally understand that playing DOTA has only left me empty-handed. Therefore, I make a promise to myself to reduce my time spent playing this game in order to avoid the negative impact it has on me.

By calculating various elements such as magic, damage, gold, and physical reduction, players also gain a deeper understanding of mathematics.
