Short Range Radar systems have emerged as a solution to such problems, and are more signified by the fact that it result in road safety , human safety ; and intelligent and effective transport system. ...roximity objects in order to avoid collisions by taking in account the environment around the vehicle. As our thesis requirement for bachelor's degree, we have developed an Intelligent Transportation System by using close proximity sensors.
Its is programmable Microelectronic based system, which detects the object effectively in front and rear ends of vehicle up to distance of mm, by using concept of ILIAD. Photoelectric sensors through switching circuit , motor and LCD are interface with Microelectronic. The controller directs the pulse from its transmitter to detect any object. Upon receiving the Echo it is processed inside the Microelectronic and if the echo under the threshold, DC motor stops (breaks are pulled automatically). In order to reduce noise pollution, the ugly sound of car horns is replaced by using optical horn.

IR transmitter which is when received by IR receiver fixed in car ahead; it reduces the sound or buzzer inside the car without making any disturbance in external environment.
