College sports benefit the college by advertising the school; it is a good marketing tool. The most important thing to help market the school is the team needs to be good at whatever the sport may be. The better the marketing leads to better players and more people are interested in going to that university.

A good example of this is the University of Texas. The University of Texas has a good athletics and academics. The University of Texas is a prominent University.

The students who attended that college want to watch their home team play so the University will sell tickets to people who want to watch the game. The University will sell merchandise to raise money for the University.

College athletics provides good marketing and publicity at the same time. The athletics is a good way to build a successful college. The people who are looking at a college will first look at their athletics whether their playing or not.

They want to go to a school that has a good athletic program. There are many sports that a college can participate in and they can benefit the school in many ways

The smaller colleges have a difficult time trying to get into the athletics because they may not have the funding or the personnel to participate.
