Currently, people in the different age groups have a policy that deals with the provision of their health care. For instance, at the childhood age, the kids get an immunization program that enables them to cope with various illnesses and health complications. The vaccines relate to diseases such as polio and tuberculosis. The policy in place ensures that all kids get the chance to have the vaccination. Later on, their parents enroll them in the various health insurance programs. The insurance assists to cater for the medical expenses in case of sickness. The same situation happens in the case of older age groups because they also need to get the necessary care.

have a specially trained group of nurses to attend to them in the wards. The wards will cater for all sorts of cases, ranging from injuries to other kinds of sicknesses. One of the categories of aging population that faces challenges in the treatment process is the obese ones. The nurses find it difficult to handle them due to their body weight. The new policy will ensure that the wards have specialized beds that will help to accommodate the overweight patients. In addition to that, because they are getting old, they tend to lose concentration of what is happening around them. They often fail to follow the instructions given to them regarding medication. Eventually, they end up doing contrary to the expectations of the physician. Therefore, it is important to have people specifically trained to handle patients of this nature. Patience among the health care providers is crucial to enable them to cope with the patients.

The new policy would make sure that the national and federal governments cater for the accommodation of the senior citizens who do not have anybody to take care of them. Those who fail to get the care at home will have centers where they can stay and receive the medical care at the expense of the government. Such centers will act as their homes for the time being, where they will receive the medication, proper nutrition, housing, and other basic needs. It will be a useful and beneficial policy to the aging people since they will benefit from facilities that assist in their health care provision.
