“Tick Tock Tick Tock” is the sound the clock in my head was making. How long will it take that bell to ring? I asked myself. But I decided that time goes faster when you’re not thinking about it. Finally it did! The bell rung and I sprinted to St. Johns Swimming pool not knowing what will happen. I was a jolly eleven year old girl who always looked forward in taking a nice swim inside the pool. I was practicing for Anglican Schools Festival where I will be representing my school for swimming.

...uld just imagine the cool water on my skin on this hot sunny afternoon. We then dive into the water and swam a few laps and had some free time inside the water. Jessica than said let’s play a game. So of course I said yes. The game was who can touch the bottom of the pool floor with their whole body wins. I was sure I was going to win.
I then went and touched the floor with my whole body, but then I felt something heavy forcing me down. I tried to proceed up but I couldn’t move. It was a fat boy sitting on me in the water. I tried to get him off but I just couldn’t. I thought to myself, “How can I get him off? ” I had to think fast. I was running out of breath and started t
make air bubbles. I then started to swallow water and then I felt him came off and I race for the surface. I came out and took a huge breath. I screamed and cried as I came out of the water. It was a narrow escape. Only God could have saved me.
