Referring to her planned hotel booking and childminding arrangements, she called her upcoming break 'escapism.' However, her husband Paul put a spanner in the works. As she sat driving, she remembered how he had cunningly concocted an excuse for cancelling their trip. Her emotions had shifted from guilt to an intense craving for physical intimacy.
