It is therefore important to prioritize their needs and offer special aid as soon as they are identified. This will not only improve their abilities but also boost their esteem and self-acceptance, values which are important where learning is to occur. In the Weslaco High School it is evident that learners with learning disabilities are in need of urgent attention. Steps including efforts by Migrant Student Graduation Enhancement Program have proved the effectiveness of trying to promote equity in the school. Despite such efforts, there still is a deficiency of thoroughly trained personal to offer the appropriate support systems.

Recommendations

Just like in higher education centers, learners in Weslaco High School with disabilities should be allowed to register with offices that support their needs so that they can be accommodated.By so doing, the learners will have equal access as other learners within the school. They will also be able to exhaust their otherwise limited abilities and thus compete positively with others (Quaglia, 2015).
There is also need to offer immediate assistance where classroom instruction and learning aids are concerned. For instance, tape recorders can be used in place of visual aid or better still, together with visual aid that has regulated lighting systems. This will ensure that their eyes are not further affected by too bright or too dim lights. It will also ensure that those who have problems interpreting what they see can use their auditory abilities to enhance understanding. The school is particularly facing a deficiency of these devices and any help towards affording them will be appreciated.
There is also need for classroom modification to suit the special need for learners with visual motor deficit. The rooms require not just light regulating devices but also sound-regulated walls. This is to ensure that the other teaching aid such as the use of spelling devices as well as the grammar audio devices receives the minimal destruction possible (Burgstahler, 2007).
Last and most important of all, there needs to be a state seminar or function that will bring learners together from different

schools to exchange skills, participate in co-curricular activities and generally interact so as to put to rest any feelings of shyness or self-doubt. This will create awareness whereby those with learning disabilities as well as those above average will discover strengths and weaknesses and thus appreciate one another (Bremer & Lloyd, 2016).

If made affordable, the visually challenged can easily store, access or manipulate learnt contents.
  4.
