There is a societal expectation for individuals to effectively manage the balance between their family life and work commitments.

The act of parents reading books to their children before bed has historically served as a time for relaxation and bonding. However, this tradition has changed with the introduction of Netflix. Nowadays, instead of having books read to them, children choose to watch Netflix shows before going to sleep. Recent data shows that a significant majority (90%) of Americans spend over an hour using their gadgets for Netflix before bedtime, and this happens more than half of the week. This situation contrasts entirely with bedtime stories as they cultivate a longing in children for closeness with their parents in order to hear more stories. Bedtime stories held a positive reputation for instilling in children a yearning for hugs, kisses, and being tenderly embraced by their parents.
