The current presidential debate has raised controversy especially from some of the ideas and beliefs that Donald Trump holds. A close analysis of the beliefs shows that there is no reliable and logical explanation as to why some of the things he advocates for ought to be done. Among the beliefs that Donald Trump holds include the need for deportation of all immigrants terming them as criminals, terming the idea of climate change to be a hoax, under looking the Obama care initiative, Muslims ought to be denied access to the United States, need for an immediate overhaul of the tax system among others (Lisa Desjardins & Boyd N.p).
It is however unfortunate to realize that most of the beliefs that Donald Trump holds are irrational and inconsistent with time. It is obvious to s
...tate that Donald Trump has been in the Television shows and in business but he has never been in the government hence lacks the experience on how to handle masses and as a result, he has been making very critical and illogical remarks. In the world of politics and more importantly for those who seek the presidential positions, there is a very high call for maturity and consistency in the beliefs that one holds and the remarks which they make in the public domain (Bevan N.p). Since Donald Trump expressed his interest for the presidential position, he has made some sentiments which he later on came in and changed and in some situations he refers them to as jokes. This is a clear implication that Donald Trump still needs to become a bold and a mature decision maker who does not keep
changing his statements.
As a matter of fact, the idea of Donald Trump deporting all the immigrants is out rightly illogical and baseless.
The claims which he clings onto claiming that the immigrants are criminals lack supportive evidence. A clear research shows that quite a large number of the immigrants are involved in the income generating project thus they are key elements in the economy of the United States. It is also very important to note that the idea of climate change is real and global warming is very key to that. On the contrary, Donald Trump argues that the whole idea of climate change is a hoax and it is a plan created by China to exploit America. He further makes very shallow remarks by claiming that it would be inappropriate to invest in measures for combating climate change since no one is sure on whether they will work.
Despite of the substantial impact that Obama care health initiative has had in America, Donald Trump is completely against it and terms it to as a disaster (Lussenhop N.p). He views it as a Canada’s government operated health care and thus calls for universal care. This idea is baseless since different parties have expressed satisfaction in the efficiency of the health services. His idea on tax reform which seeks to reform the entire tax system by eliminating the tax system for certain groups of people is completely irrational and will set America in more economic troubles than the present time. Donald Trump also argues that once he becomes the president, he would send the United States troops to get oil from the Islamic states. This idea is completely
misleading since it is more likely to fix the United States in a war and spoil it good image.
Over the years, trump has varied the ideologies that he held concerning abortion, health, trade among other aspects in order to fit his current political needs. These efforts are made in order to ensure that he can effectively woe the masses. Donald also fails in the manner in which he manages his emotions and pride. He is beyond control and utters anything to anyone who seems to oppose him. These are common traits for incompetent leaders. A clear inconsistency is the manner in which he perceived the idea of abortion. At first, he stated that abortion was inappropriate and would be acceptable in some situations like rape, incest and the related situations. Later on, he changed his stand and claimed that every woman has the freedom to choose on whether they are to procure an abortion. This state of change in decisions depicts inconsistency of thought and can be translated to imply incompetence in leadership (Bevan N.p).
In addition to the above traits that Donald Trump depicts, the fact that he has never held a political post before adds to the reasons why he is incapable to run the presidential office. Donald needs to have a political background which will grant him experience on how to deal with the masses without the application of dictatorship tendencies (Lussenhop N.p). Any eligible candidate for the presidential position ought to be capable of taking criticism positively and dealing amicably with the opponents.
It is therefore important to note that Donald Trump is an incompetent leader. This is because he lacks political experience,
he is inconsistent in what he says and most of his beliefs are completely irrational. Voters therefore need to make a wise choice during the presidential elections and avoid getting lured by Donald Trump. If he becomes the president, the United States will be run in a dictatorial manner, the economy will deteriorate and its global rating will subside.
