In December 2006, my fiance and I moved to the UK and we are extremely pleased with our decision! England and Poland have notable distinctions in terms of culture, religion, cuisine, people, languages, and hospitality. However, one major obstacle is our longing for our families. Polish families are tightly-knit and their support is exceptional. It's challenging to experience the same level of warmth when they are there while we're here. Additionally, we also miss our friends as well as the home-cooked meals prepared by our mothers.

Culture can arise from different aspects of human life including language, nationality, education, profession, group affiliation, religion, family ties, social class, and corporate culture.
The influence of elements on individuals within a society results in the learning and transmission of culture. Despite shared historical inheritance, Polish and British people have significant differences in social life that impact behavior and culture. Superstitions play a significant role in cultural differences, with many traditions and superstitions
dating back thousands of years.
It is astonishing how numerous of these were originally intended to protect against evil spirits while also promoting good luck, fertility, and prosperity. The belief that a black cat crossing your path can impact your luck has a long history. In Poland, seeing a black cat crossing the road is seen as unlucky, likely due to the belief that the black cat is a disguised witch or a spy/helper for her. Therefore, it may have been imagined to possess the same magical ability to cause harm.
