In December 2006, my fiance and I moved to the UK and we are extremely pleased with our decision! England and Poland have notable distinctions in terms of culture, religion, cuisine, people, languages, and hospitality. However, one major obstacle is our longing for our families. Polish families are tightly-knit and their support is exceptional. It's challenging to experience the same level of warmth when they are there while we're here. Additionally, we also miss our friends as well as the home-cooked meals prepared by our mothers.

The cost of living in Britain and Poland is compared. Services such as water, gas, electricity, and telephones are priced similarly in both countries, while petrol is slightly more expensive in Britain.
