PT has to be present and available for direction and supervision

the PT is physically present and immediately available to direct and supervise tasks

-interpret referrals -initials examination, evaluations diagnosis and prognosis -determine appropriate utilization of PTA -reexamine the patient and revise goals -establish discharge plan and documentation of discharge -oversight of all documentation

1) one-plus-one (complete one year, then get accepted into the program) 2) Integrated 2-year (students accepted into the program complete foundational and physical therapy requirements at the same time) 3) part-time (designed to allow students to continue working while doing school)
