How could being a baby created by technology and according to specification affect the child? Scientists have tried to make the human genes embryo. Some scientist has successfully reacted with horror in an attempt, for fear that it could be misused allowing parents to choose the genes they should pass on to their children (Franklin & Roberts, 2006). The scientist has tried to tweak the genes responsible for a potential deadly blood disorder whereby they used a germ line formatting technique called CRISPR/Cas9.
Designer babies whose genes have been altered permanently to facilitate them behaviorally or physically, and who inherit their modified genes to their children represent a more difficult technical maneuver. Designer babies are greatly affected by abnormalities such overweight or underweight, height, and the color (Franklin & Roberts, 2006). Some confidently foreign characters from the other species into the human child may cause malfunction to different organs of the baby such as the eyes and the ears.
Designer babies have so limitations both on the society and on the baby itself. If the process of designing the baby is done carelessly, the embryo could be terminated thus leading to the death of the baby. Furthermore, some of the technology employed is not fully safe, it is still in the experimental stages (Jameton, 1984). This can lead to inaccuracy in designing the baby thus leading to malformation of the body organs of the baby.

of the designed baby with the other natural babies since the designed babies may look better (according to the natural babies) than the natural babies In terms of health and the general body appearance. This could create a gap “classes” in the society (Jameton, 1984).
