Dixita, Savita, and Sandhya Palb present a widespread introduction of recent progress in the field of the natural and synthetic polymers as the new material for biodegradable polymers. These biodegradable materials have played an essential role in environmental conservation by reducing the plastic waste which doesn't decay. The materials and various blends have attracted the attention of the industries as the exhibit the enhancements in properties which are vital in membrane technology. The preparation of polymers is achieved through the addition of the functional moieties groups to the structures polymerization, or suitable monomer can be blended with biodegradable ones. These are the organic compounds.

The articles focus on the application of the blends materials for membrane technology such as fuel cells, membrane electrolytes and ultrafiltration membranes used to treat water. It’s found that conventional polymers such as cellulose, po

lylastic acid, starch, and collagen are combined with human-made polymers to form membranes. The mechanical properties of the membrane are improved by the introduction of nano-fibrous and nanoparticles. The widespread application of membranes and biodegradable is discussed in the article.

Application of Membranes and Its Benefits, Drawback and Practicality in the Society

Membrane separation has recently become an essential technology in the universe. It has been seen as a promising way to cope with main environmental problems due to its advantages which include low energy use, environmental friendly, less usage of chemicals and easy way to use them. The membranes can be utilized as fuel cells, which are relatively low-cost power generation. The hybrid membranes are also used in making drugs, diagnostics, and tissue engineering in bio-medics. They are referred in biological application since they have high sensitivity and transparent

surfaces. The membranes can also be applied in water treatments.

Hybrid Membranes have been beneficial to the society over the past decades. Membranes have ensured the relatively low energy use due to its high thermal stability and lower surface tension. They work without the addition of the chemicals since they have high chemical resistance, they are easy to use hence can be used by everybody. Hybrid membranes are environmental friendlies. However, one of their drawbacks is their cost. They are relatively expensive, hence not affordable to everybody.

Elements in chemistry and physics refer to any substance which cannot be further broken down into simpler components by any chemical reactions (McCleverty, 30). Elements are made of small particles, but one cannot take any atom of the element and break it down using chemical means. It is precisely defined by the total protons in its atom. All elements of an atom have the similar number of protons but a different number of neutrons hence different masses.

For instance, the atoms of graphite (pencil lead) and diamond are carbon elements with the same number of protons but different neutrons hence different masses. The atoms of each element are arranged differently. Thus, you may find atoms of the same element having different properties. The atoms of the similar element which have the different number of neutrons are called isotopes. All elements have an individual isotope which is utmost common in nature.

The number of electrons in an atom of the element can differ. When the number of the electrons and that of protons is the same in an atom, then the atom is considered to have no electric charge. If the number of

electrons is different from the number of protons, then the atom is known as an ion. The ion is negative if there are more electrons than protons in an atom. Alternatively, the ion is positive if there are fewer electrons than protons.

Currently, there exist one hundred and fifteen elements which have been accepted and the other three elements which have not been accepted by the scientists. Scientists use the periodic table to show all the elements organized in a systematized way specifically in order of increasing atomic number. Each element is arranged in a particular place, according to its atomic structure which is based on the atomic number and electron configuration.

Engaging with the water sector for public health benefits: waterborne pathogens and diseases in developed countries. The Bridge, in his article “Engaging with the Water Sector tor Public Health Benefits: Waterborne Pathogens and Diseases in Developed Countries” outline the protection regarding public health associated with water usage in establishing countries comprising the consumptions of water apart from intake, washing, and water retention. They suggest water has other several uses which involve food production, inshore fisheries, and recreation. Water has been an essential part of the livelihood of a human being. However, there has been problems of water contamination which is a hazard to people's health.

Water pollution has been rampant for the past decades and poster a significant threat to human life such as diseases and deaths. The article discusses in depth the problems in preventing infections instigated by water pathogens including Cryptosporidium. The perspective is given to the water diseases prevention considering the concerns of environmental science, epidemiology and the approaches necessitated to protect public

health. The researchers dig deep in the necessary measures to be taken to keep water free of the diseases.

The article is important as it clearly outlines the necessary measure to be taken on water treatment in a bid to protect human health. According to the research done by the authors, the reach most effective approaches to prevent waterborne pathogens and diseases not only in the developed countries but also the entire world. There has been a resurgence of waterborne diseases which sometimes leads to mass deaths hence the measures provided in the article are crucial in public health and waterborne disease awareness. The article provides the chemical reactions leading to contamination of water, hence very essential in our study of aqueous reactions and chemical reactions involved.
