Social media has recently developed into the standard means of communication across different backgrounds and age. It is the defined as the digital content creation and interaction for the reason that it links the people from various locations virtually. The use of social media has been regarded the root of all evil. However, the disagreements follow the statement due to the impact it plays in the society in a positive manner. The behavior of the society should be blamed for the evil spread in the community. The gratitude theory of communication allows the choice of different media in addressing different people in the society.
The identification of the problematic online and social behavior is difficult due to the incorporation of social media in our work, information delivery and even school work that involve research. Some business advertisements have worked very well with the utilization of the social media hence turning it to be an important aspect of consideration in the business success. The addiction interferes with the daily habits and concerns on the job ethics and partiality become a problem especially in the business set up where time management is the key to the success of the business.

The development of the Internet and social networking have resulted to the computer addiction, a better version of the social media addiction. The new form of social media addiction includes the cyber-relationship and the cyber-sexual addiction as well as activities such as the online gambling that steal the society attention. Jobs are advertised through social media; important business communication is done through the social media. Hence, the consequences of shutting down the whole thing would result in negative impact. The society has come to rely on social media simply because of the connection implication it serves. It connects the world to different opportunities and creativity of building the businesses and relationship that keep things at work up to date. The social media has grown to become a tool that we rely upon in fulfillment of our responsibilities and not escape them.

Growing up in an era that accepts the social media makes us think that the impact on our social life is less considerable.
