A Christmas Prince is about an American journalist who visits Aldovia to report on King Richard's death. However, when she attends the press conference for the appointment of Prince Richard, he fails to appear.

Amber, the American journalist, manages to infiltrate the kingdom after the press conference in order to gather some compromising information about the Prince. However, her sneaky act is discovered by the palace staff. The butler confronts her and mistakenly assumes that she is a tutor for the Prince's sister, Emily. It is Amber's polite words that allow her to pass as a tutor.

Amber has now assumed the identity of Martha Anderson. Martha displayed courteousness towards every individual she encountered, addressing them as Sir or Your Highness. Upon Martha's arrival in Aldovia, she attempted to signal a taxi but it was taken by the undercover Prince Richard instead. T

his action infuriated Martha, leading her to label him as a "selfish jerk" (Krell, 2017). Eventually, when Prince Richard finally confronted Martha in person, he sarcastically remarked, "remember me, the selfish jerk" (Krell, 2017). Martha's deceitfulness persisted throughout the initial part of the film as Prince Richard mistakenly believed she was Emily's tutor.

While everyone in the castle believed that Martha was Emily's tutor, she was actually just trying to gather material for her blog in New York. Despite initially seeming out of place, Martha eventually blended in quite well. Emily, having lost her father early on, had a history of driving away previous tutors. However, Emily's intelligence led her to discover that Martha, the supposed tutor, was actually Amber, the journalist, when she stumbled upon Martha's left-out computer and hacked into it.

about their secret friendship, assuring her that she appreciates how Amber treats her differently from others. This revelation takes place while Amber is conducting her investigation into Prince Richard's background, revealing that he is in fact adopted. Given Amber's close friendship with Emily and her growing attachment to Prince Richard, it would be extremely destructive if their secret were to be exposed. What initially started as a small fib has snowballed into a significant falsehood. (Krell, 2017)

Amber sought the guidance of her father for advice, and he advised her to "do what is right - you must listen to your heart, peanut, as it will always hold the truth." (Krell, 2017) Richard, on the other hand, is beginning to develop feelings for Amber. Unexpectedly, he visited her room and proposed a romantic stroll. They embarked on a delightful walk amidst the snow, and during their conversation, they started to disclose their genuine emotions. The prince confessed that he had been delaying the ceremony for which Amber was initially present because he had doubts about becoming the King of Aldovia. Amber reassured him that it was alright and believed he would excel as a king. Just as she was about to unveil her true identity, he surprised her with a kiss and invited her to be his companion at the Christmas ball.

Prince Richard's brother, Steven, becomes consumed with jealousy as he follows behind Richard in line for the throne. Together with his girlfriend Sophia, who happens to be Richard's ex-girlfriend, they devise a plan to claim the throne for themselves. Taking matters into their own hands, they break into Amber's room and upon searching her belongings,

they make a shocking discovery - Prince Richard is actually adopted, and the true identity of Amber is revealed to be Martha.

Steven expresses joy as he exclaims, "well, well, well looks like Christmas came early." (Krell, 2017) The ball is approaching, where Prince Richard will be crowned King. Emily seats Amber and presents her with a lovely Christmas gift, a beautiful bracelet. Emily then summons three servants to prepare Amber for the ball, who proceed to style her hair, apply makeup, and dress her in an exquisite gown.

Amber went to the ball room and had a grand entrance. Prince Richard invited her to dance and expressed his gratitude, saying "I owe my presence here to you, and I feel at ease with you. You are more sincere than anyone I have ever encountered" (Krell, 2017). The Prime Minister is prepared to inaugurate Prince Richard as the King. He inquired if anyone had objections to the Prince's ascension. If you have any, speak up now or forever hold your peace.

Stevens girlfriend Sophia loudly proclaims that Richard is adopted and Martha is actually a journalist named Amber from America. Steven then asserts his right to be king as the next in line. Prince Richard is shocked and angrily leaves the ceremony. Amber and the Queen are devastated. Amber chases after the Prince and apologizes, explaining that things got out of control. The Prince responds, saying she now has a great story to tell. The Queen reassures Richard that he is royalty and was born in their hearts.

He embraced her tightly and declared, "He will never abandon them." Promising his mother that Steven would not become King without

a struggle. Overwhelmed with sorrow, Amber headed to the airport to return to New York. She phoned her father, who affirmed, "Failure lays the foundation for future triumphs." (Krell, 2017) This brought to her mind a poem written by King Richard, which mentioned a seed. Earlier, Emily and Amber had adorned a Christmas tree together and placed an acorn upon it.

In the poem, there was a reference to a seed. Upon realizing its significance, Amber promptly returned to the castle and insisted on rectifying the situation. Upon her return, she forcefully plucked the acorn from the tree and removed its top, discovering a message from King Richard. The note stated that Prince Richard deserved the throne due to his tremendous efforts. As the ceremony to swear in Steven began, an opportunity arose for objections, and Amber seized it.

People attempted to silence her, yet the Queen insisted, "allow her to express herself" (Krell, 2017). Throughout Amber's time in the palace, she formed a friendship with the Queen through her courteous speech and her compassionate treatment of Emily. The document had the official seal of the King, and they officiated Prince Richard as the new ruler. While the King's inauguration was underway, Amber departed, returning to New York. Subsequently, she approached her publisher with her narrative, but they expressed disinterest. Amber informed the producer that they preferred trivial content rather than the truth. Nevertheless, Amber informed them that she was resigning as she refused to fabricate once more.

Amber visits her Dad's Deli in New York City on New Year's Eve and notices King Richard through the window. Curious, she rushes outside into the snow to inquire why

he is in New York. He responds, "I never had the opportunity to bid farewell."

(Krell, 2017) King Richard proposed to Amber by getting on his knees and asking for her hand in marriage, prompting her to question his intentions. He confidently responded by stating that he had never been more certain about anything in his life and jokingly adding, "Now how long are you going to leave a king on his knees." Ultimately, Amber's deceit resulted in negative consequences, but her eventual honesty triumphed. Thus, the text suggests that deception is an inherent aspect of life.

Teachers, pastors, and even parents often tell white lies to protect others. However, it is the big lies that can cause significant problems. Amber's use of non-verbal politeness proved beneficial for her. It helped her gain entrance into the castle, win Richard's heart, and ultimately become queen through their marriage. On the other hand, Steven and Sophia's jealousy only led them to disappointment.
