Schizophrenia

Need 2/5 for at least 1 month and must persist for >6months for schizophrenia. 1 to 6 months is Schizophreniform. Less than 1 month is Brief Psychotic Disorder. Schizoaffective is 2/5 for 2 weeks in the absence of mood symptoms (in order to distinguish between mood disorder with psychotic symptoms)

Symptoms of a Panic Attack

"Da PANICS." Dizziness, disconnectedness, derealization, depersonalization. Palpitations, Paresthesias. Abdominal distress. Numbness, nausea. Intense fear of dying, losing control, or "going crazy." Chills, chest pain. Sweating, shaking, shortness of breath. Panic Disorder - 1 or more panic attacks with >1 month of worry about the next one.
