a lot of practice in order to be in a position to emerge the winner. There are various characters in the sportsmanship which are; a “good winner” and a “good lose” the two are the qualities of sportsmanship.

The implication gotten from this context is that a person should be able to accept the outcomes of the match without showing any sign of un satisfaction. However, there are other kind of people who never accept the outcome of the match and thus they do not the act of defeat in good heart. In sportsmanship one can easily mistake the character of the opponent since he or she is has to mould his character to match with that of the sports regulations. This is only possible if an individual factors in the ability to behave in a manner that is likely to suggest that he or she has got endurance and the self control motives. One is also supposed to uphold respect for the opponent and the authorities who are in control of the sport. Failure to do so; an individual may be subjected to punishment or being barred from the game (Parks 153).

According to the rules of the game, there are several elements that characterize a good sportsman. For instance a good sportsman should be able to celebrate victory in a manner that shows respect .This is because in a situation whereby one is declared a winner he or she might turn out to perceiving himself as being greater or much special than others , an act that attract misbehavior. Whenever this happens, the outcome can be necessary measures being taken upon the individual that sometimes

are not welcoming in nature. The silver rule is also very common aspect of sportsmanship. By silver rule it implies that one is ought to do only things that he or she could want others to do unto him and thus what he or she could not want be done unto he or she should shun from doing the same to others. If this rule is followed to the latter during the sportsmanship activity, then misbehaviors during the game could also be minimized. An undisputable effort is that a sportsman should embrace the act of teamwork (Webb 67).

A good sportsman should not despise the role of the other members in the team because the two are interrelated aspects. As a team, victory is easy to achieve but in a situation whereby the team is characterized by some of the member being mean to extend of failing to cooperate with the others, then defeat is likely to be the outcome. With team, people are in a position to ensure proper coordination and excision of plans that team has. Attitude is also very vital in sportsmanship as it acts, as the drive towards the prosperity for an individual in all the endeavors that he or she engages in .Attitude should also be considered in two perspectives in that there is both negative and positive attitude. Whenever an individual incorporates a positive attitude, he or she is in a position to perform better as compared to a person who is having a negative attitude as it may act as a drawback to that particular individual even if he or she could have been able to do better. Therefore,

as a sportsman attitude is inevitable since it is the source of both failure and success depending on how someone takes it (Webb 67).

In sportsmanship, there are also some of the common elements that linger in the mind of any participant in a competition. They are commonly found among sportsmen. They are; fairness, equity, desire to win and even good form. The four ought to be balanced by a good player in order for him to be in a position to reap the maximum benefits from sports. None of the above should be neglected whatsoever but rather a good balancing mode should be incorporated during the execution process of the ideas that are incorporated by the player during a competition with an opponent. If they are not well monitored by an individual during a competition, they may end up resulting to a conflict especially when a person decides to engage much in his desire to win and ends up forgetting to consider the other elements an act that can render his prowess null and resulting to crush between the sportsmanship aspects. This in turn shows that winning is not just complete unless it is acquired in a manner that is fair and free from the vice of self centered which dismisses the idea of sportsmanship from the individual since he or she has rendered himself incompetent (Smith 2010).

In the modern world, the sporting culture has really influenced many aspects of lives and transformation. This individual groups of people in sportsmanship have gained popularity as hundreds of their fanatics flock the competition grounds to cheer them up and celebrate the victory together with the people whom

they admire and devote their cheering power towards that person or group of people. Other fields that have been influenced by the culture of sportsmanship is the advertising media whereby the celebrated sportsmen are featured in the advertisements so that those who like associating themselves with that particular person or team find it worth purchasing a commodity featuring a person they celebrate. Most societies perceive the members of the society who are renowned sportsmen as being the societal role models (Parks 153).

They therefore urge their young one to embrace the characteristic traits of the sportsmen so that in future they may end u succeeding in a manner that is similar to that of their role models. This emphasis is especially put on the children who are growing up and are yet to exploit their full potential and more so whenever they notice that the child has got a talent that needs to be nurtured so as to help them in future. Sportsmanship has gained popularity to an extend whereby the various sponsors including governments themselves have chipped in to aid in nurturing the talents of the young people in as it also seen as a way of curbing the unemployment rate that is increasing tremendously (Webb 67).

Another notable aspect of sportsmanship is that there are rules that are applicable in any game. These rules have been put there in order to ensure that there is openness and accountability. Those who do not accept the rules of the game are sometimes commonly referred to as “Sore loser” these group of individuals are known well known from the mayhem they cause when it comes to the violation

of the principles of sportsmanship. There are several characteristics that can be used to explain these kinds of people in the dimensions of sleep .For instance; they are always basing their failure on the act of blame game in that, they never willing that they indeed did a mistake and they ought to apologies. They also like making excuses following their defeat by the opponents and also they tend to react immaturely in a destructive manner whenever they are not in god terms with the other mate in the match. A winner in sportsmanship is not a conqueror if he or she does not express some kind of maturity even after winning. This reason as to why we have some of the people who are referred to as bad winners’. Another distinctive characteristic of this group of people is that they also show some kind of disrespect the other members present in the team without minding their welfare and roles that they play in sportsmanship (Smart 45).

There also a number of issues that seems to prohibit the spirit if sportsmanship spirit in most societies. Some of the common reasons are that there are fewer facilities that can be used to tap the resources that are capable of improving the spirit of sportsmanship. This has been a major hindrance to the progress of improving the profession. Whenever a sportsmanship is not nurtured in a manner that targets the young generations, it might end up losing its focuses because the these group for people are the ones that are energized to competence in such tough professions that need a lot of energy to be able to competence

with other fellow individual s of the same age. Lack of funding has also been associated with hindrance of the sportsmanship because capital is essential when nurturing young people since some of the activities require funding especially when buying the requirements for training people and catering for the other expenses such as transport and finally for holding competitive activities. These activities are all geared towards the realization of sportsmanship. Therefore, the lack of funding has led to termination of many ideas which if they were implemented they could have yielded positive outcomes (Smith 2010).

Environmental factor has also resulted to the hindrance of the sportsmanship .In order for it to succeed, various measures out to be taken to realize a full outcome of the featured results. An environment that is not conducive cannot allow the development of the spirit of sportsmanship in a manner that is acceptable. Some of the environmental hindrances that can prohibit the development of this spirit are weather conditions that are not favorable and also lack of good training ground for the events to become successful (Parks 153).
