In the day to day life, people tend to either fill or leave out information in their memories. This has been seen to affect how they perceive reality and even their imagination about their future. In most cases, these perceptions and imaginations are mainly the downs and disappointment one has been through which makes them unhappy. When such worries are left behind and filled with optimistic feelings about the future, life would be full of happiness.
Every human being is created in a different way, some with all the body forms in place while other may be born with some disabilities and even complications like conjoined twins (Gilbert & Daniel 29). People believe that those born with disabilities are not happy. This is not the case because disability is not inability. Also, a philosopher once said that it i
...s better to be a human being and dissatisfied than a pig which is satisfied. The fact of being human is worth happiness regardless of the circumstances.
Through experience, people tend to remember only the bad times they’ve had, locking out the good ones. With this, fear builds up. And also once you have gone through a certain experience, you are unable to see things as they were before (Gilbert & Daniel 53). This makes it difficult to change perception on things. Since their memory and attention span is not motivated on the things at hand.
People should develop positive thoughts about life and also appreciate things that come along the way. True happiness is only felt when one does not know what they are missing out (Gilbert & Daniel 50). Ones’ mind is one's Kingdom, and therefore people should
not have emotionally thrilling events which embrace an invisible control and quite difficult to overcome.
