Sociology is the study of social behavior, including its origins, development, networks, and institutions. It employs various methods of empirical investigation and critical analysis to develop a body of knowledge about the social order. In this discussion, we focus on the socialization of families and conducting research that directly or indirectly addresses family social policies.
Within family socialization, one important concept is the impact of gender in society which requires participation from each individual. For example, in a family that embraces gender stereotypes, brothers and sisters learn to adopt specific gender roles based on factors influencing their attitudes and behaviors as well as their parents' expectations regarding gender perfection.
The primary source of influence on gender expectations appears to be the family, as it is transferred to children and
...plays a crucial role in shaping their perceptions (Gallo;Scrinzi 2015). Based on my interactions with various families, I have come to realize that most gender expectations stem from parental care and are prevalent across societies. However, during my research on gender socialization, I observed that certain factors hinder the adherence to this societal stratification. One such factor is the lack of unity within families, which subsequently impacts socialization within the wider society.
In this perspective, it can be stated that the denial of many families is influenced by the cooperation and discouragement observed in the weeks preview.
