-The first cause of WWI is European rivalries -this was a competition for power among European Nation -The second cause of WWI was Nationalism - this is having pride in ones country -The third cause of WWI was militarism - this is glorification of the military -The fourth cause of WWI was the System of Alliance - this was a situation in which any small conflict would lead to a large war - I think militarism is most important because if the military wasn't glorified, the military wouldn't be used - I think it's all of Europe's fault because of the Systems of Alliance.

The goal of any new military technology is to cause more death and destruction. The World War I technology will not be used properly or effectively. This new technology favors speed, mobility, and agility. World War I will not be about speed but will involve stalemates, trenches, and a war of attrition.

Germany will sink the passenger ship, the Lusitania. After the sinking of the Lusitania the US is looking for reason to enter World War I. The interception of the Zimmerman note will cause the The US to enter World War I. The US entering the war will provide motivation for Britain and France win the war. The US will use convoy tactics to gain control of the Atlantic. With the US entering World War I the allies will gain victory in this war.

The Treaty of Versailles will be a battle between the US's idealistic goals versus Britain and France's nationalistic goals. The US wanted to do what's best for everyone and Britain and France just wanted to punish Germany. In the end Britain and France's nationalistic goals win out. Britain and France become the clear winners of World War I and Germany will be the clear losers. The Treaty of Versailles will become the motivation for Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party.
