My stand towards physician assisted suicide is evidently against it. This is mainly because, life is too precious a thing to be taken slightly and be altered whenever some one feels to, if scientists have not found reasons behind it and it looks like they are not going to find any soon. Also I believe that when physicians decide to assist in committing suicide they have automatically murdered a human life, even though they are used to seeing people die, I think they should have the sense of respect to human life no matter how delicate it looks. If doctors can create a fake leg, then they are allowed to operate on it as much as they like and make as many alterations on it but until they realize how to create life they should not give any alteration or tamper with it.

Furthermore, I feel that as far as I disagree with physician assisted suicide it should never be made legal in the United States of America. This is because of two major reasons; first, USA being among the super powers of the world, posses a say to many nations which they collaborate with hence legalizing it will mean the Physician Assisted suicide will be legalized across the world with in a range of five to ten years. This is evident in the way gay marriage legalization spread like bush fire across the world once it was legalized in USA ((“Breaking News, World News & Multimedia”)). Hence legalization of Physician assisted S

uicide would closely mean introducing it to the whole world with no time. Secondly, USA knows how to manage their policies and pass them to friendly nations close to them and follow it through the way, my fear is that when USA legalizes Physician Assisted Suicide and it spreads out it will cause advance in to the fact that life is no longer precious and people should just cause their deaths whenever they feel like dyeing and with in no time, the practice which was designed for people so sick or so injured on their hospital bed will be applied even to whose who are stressed up and still healthy people who just felt so tried of life. This is always wrong because they come to finally realize the importance of life later, to them it would be too late because they will be died.
I think I value the quantity of life more because no matter how worse your life is, you still have it and you can change it if you get the right resources. People should not set to have quality lives, instead they should approve that having life inside is more important, it’s important no matter how less quality it is.

As a health care provider it would be wise for me to let every one I work with know my stand and effects of helping some one to kill himself or herself or killing someone with the slight excuse that he or she wanted to die. As the last option, I should strongly made it known that the only time a person should die i

when there is no possibility of life being better or of recovery from the present situation and if there is no possibility of recovery they are person is already dead. I know they would try to convince me with their other reasons but I would stand on my ground sand keep my option trying to make them realize it from all angles.

In conclusion, I strongly think that it’s wrong to commit Physician Assisted suicide and it should not be legalized .Just like abortion; it has both good and bad effects but more bad than the good in it ((“A Generous Orthodoxy”))
