True Aggie Tradition:
answer
On the lawn of Old Main stands the \"A\". The block A is known for the true Aggie tradition. Back when USU was fairly new there was a group of boys who graduated from high school in Salt Lake. Their high school principal told them at their school there would be no clubs. So when the boys got to USU the formed a club called the \"Be No Club.\" In order to become part of this club a boy would have to take a willing young lady up into the bell tower on a full moon and kiss her at midnight. This became so popular in 1916 the \"A\" was built and the initiation for the \"Be No Club\" had evolved into becoming a \"True Aggie.\" Today, in order to become a True Aggie you must be kissed by someone who is already a True Aggie, while standing on the \"A\" at midnight on a full moon. Or any two people can become True Aggies if they kiss each other while standing on the \"A\" at midnight on Homecoming or A-Day night.
