The medical discipline has got numerous ways that are geared towards solving some of the core issues that arise from the medical field. For instance, one of the common practice from the medical field is euthanasia .This refers to a practice whereby , the doctor or the kith and kin to a patient who has been admitted to the hospital for long intentionally comes into an agreement of terminating his or her life with an aim of relieving him from the suffering and pain. This is an indication that it involves ending life of an individual (Emanuel et al 79). Euthanasia is normally categorized into various types such as; involuntary and voluntary euthanasia depending on conditions surrounding its execution.
On voluntary euthanasia involves a process whereby life is terminated without the consent of the victim .Voluntary euthana
...sia is the one which involves the consent of the patient who agrees to terminate his life (Fletcher &Joseph 45). According to the historical information pertaining the application of euthanasia the debate on the validity of euthanasia began in the period of industrial revolution which had led to the rise of the of the euthanasia movements which had two groups with some supporting it while other being against it (Steck et al 940). The opposition proponents of euthanasia normally argue that it is a vice that is against the religious believers of many .Also they suggest that death is a must and thus it shouldn’t be caused .Another argument is that euthanasia is against the morals of society and thus it shouldn’t be legalized (Somerville & Margaret 32). The current state about euthanasia is that it is still practiced bu
under some conditions. These conditions vary from one nation to another depending on constitution legality of the matter.
