“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm, and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.” Everyone has a time of joy and everyone experiences a change in their point of view in the world. About 5-6 years ago it was the month of July 2012, that myself, dad, and my grandmother visited London to meet with my cousin. I felt very excited to be part of this because I have never been to London before, though my dad and my grandmother had gone there before.

Firstly, we had to travel by Limousine, to the JFK (the John F. Kennedy International Airport), New York; where we had to catch our airplane. I had to say goodbye to my mother and brother who stayed back in the USA

...

. British Airways plane departure on time and flights were almost 10hrs. I occupied myself by playing games, reading books, and watching movies. We landed at Heathrow Airport in London, in the UK which is the largest airport in Europe. I was excited to see different airplane especially Japan, Indian Airlines.

My aunt was there to receive us from the airport and then we drove to their house which was almost two hours drive. I was so excited to see outside from the window about the view and European driving which is on the left-hand side. My cousin whose name is Lucas was surprised to see me when I rang the doorbell. We chatted, laughed and enjoyed eating delicious lasagna for dinner. Lucas and I had made some Garfield jokes for a bit (PS

Garfield loves lasagna we just did that to reference how much he loves it). Lucas had introduced me two cats named Leo and Zara both were about 9 years old when I was there (sadly Zara died in 2017).

I really liked Leo so much because he is very nice and Zara felt quite mysterious. After the introduction about the cats, Lucas and I had played more Xbox games. Then we had played soccer just to burn some calories (I won the game). Just after we did the games, I had gotten to my room and unpacked my suitcase. Before I went to bed, I was wondering about my brother in the USA. The next day we had to visit a Sea Life museum and London Eye. We drove to the museum to see the exhibit consisting of jellyfish fish, swordfish and sharks.

We had to watch a presentation talking about The history of fish, jellyfish, sharks, and underwater plant life and it was full of knowledgeable. Soon after we had to go out of the museum because we had to walk to the London Eye and Big Ben I exclaimed “hooray” because I was so excited. First, we had to watch a presentation about the wonders of the London Eye before we can go inside the London Eye. At some point I was getting scared going upwards in the heights, however, I was comfortable coming downwards.

When I was at the top of the Ferris Wheel, I had shouted “cool” since it was a very nice view the London Eye gave us. We finished our tour for museum and London Eye and I had got a cheeseburger

and cotton candy for lunch it was really tasty also it had a really appealing smell. When finished eating we had to board a train called “Underground Railroad” which is the fastest train leading us to my aunt's car.

On the train cousin and I were playing both of our Nintendo DS’s and played some Lego Batman games. My father contacted my mother and brother regarding our visit to these historical places. After we reached home we both went to a water slide because it was a great way to avoid the scorching sun. I spend time swimming and water slide. In the evening I had decided to have some food called crumpets and I went to bed after a long day and thinking about the great experience of my life.

The next day morning we had to pack our bathing suits, breakfast, and all the needed stuff in the car because it took us an hour to get to our destination and it was gigantic Swimming Pool. Once we arrived there we changed into our bathing suits and jumping/got into the freezing pool. Lucas (my cousin) pointed out that there are 3 water slides, though there were only two because one of the water slides was closed down for construction.

Lucas and I had decided to repeatedly go on each water slide (to describe them, one of the water slides was pink, and one of the water slides was blue the pink water slide had light in. In addition, the blue water slide had no light at all, in my opinion, I thought the new slide is going to be very dim because it will be a

mix of dark plus light ). About three hours had passed and we were exhausted from running up all those stairs and decided to leave.

I have a passion for the pets, so I played with Leo a bit and we both watched the beautiful sunset. I enjoyed my day today playing in the Swimming pool and with the family. I visited Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of the UK's sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the Monarch. I was able to experience the major ceremony called The forecourt of Buckingham Palace is used for Changing of the Guard,

It was a memorable moment and times I spend with my cousin in London, UK. It was almost time that we had to pack for our departure from the UK to the USA. At the time packing my aunt had given me a lot of souvenirs of the United Kingdom Flags etc. for my collections. There was one picture frame I received from my aunt where myself and Lucas both are standing together.

I was hoping if I should have a few more days to spend with my cousin and explore London, UK. It was 8:00 am Lucas and I had played with Leo the cat for an hour (we couldn’t play with Zara because she would honestly scratch me if I tried to play with her). At 9:00 am I spent my time checking that I had packed all my belongings, my reading books. It was almost 10 am that we had to take the taxi to the Heathrow Airport. We arrived at the airport, bag checked, plane boarded and

ready back to the U.S.

I realized that the trip from the UK to the USA was shorter, however along the way I checked on the screen where it showed the average flight distance, so the average flight time there might be credible since it was a direct trip. We arrived at the U.S.A and I was so delighted to see my mom and my brother crying because I haven’t seen them for almost a week. We dropped our grandma to her home and I have lots to share with my family my memorable experience with my visit to London, UK. It was an amazing experience to travel to London, UK because of the time difference, European driving and I learned about Elizabeth II is the queen of UK and also London museum can be visited free of charge. So London UK had change my perspective of the world.
