The main purpose of this study is to showcase and provide an overview of my activities and knowledge gained during my internship in the HR department at Bank Alfalah Limited's Head Office (North). This study contains a comprehensive range of information that allows readers to grasp the current position and significant operations of BAL based on my first-hand experience.

This report sheds light on my experiences and accomplishments during my internship program. It outlines the responsibilities assigned to me, as well as the new knowledge I gained. Additionally, it details the challenges I faced during my time at BAL. The report also explores how my overall experience has influenced my career. On June 21, 1992, following the collapse of BCCI, the Ministry of Finance (Government of Pakistan) acquired three of its divisions and incorporated H.C.E.B (Habib Credit & Exchange Bank), which began banking operations on November 1, 1992. In accordance with the Companies Regulation 1962, the bank focused on commercial banking and related services.
After the H.C.E.B denationalization in 1997, it was renamed as Bank Alfalah Limited (BAL). With the collaboration of Abu Dhabi Group and its ne
technology and services, it quickly gained a significant market share. Supported by Abu Dhabi Group and guided by its board of directors' strategic goals, the bank has invested in innovative technology to create a modern and creative environment with a wide range of new products and services. In order to make its services accessible to the public, Bank Alfalah has launched a rapid expansion plan, aiming to provide its network that allows customers to access its services anytime, anywhere in all major cities of Pakistan and also exploring international opportunities in the future.
Bank Alfalah is currently operating in various cities in Pakistan, with approximately 321 branches. The total number of employees in 2006 was 6,543, but it has now increased to over 12,000. This growth in employee numbers indicates that Bank Alfalah is seen as a desirable employer. Not only is it the fastest expanding bank in the market, but it is also favored by career-oriented individuals due to the numerous benefits it offers.
With effective leadership and guidance, Bank Alfalah has quickly achieved success and is now striving to meet the current needs of its customers in order to efficiently and effectively achieve future goals. The bank aims to establish itself as a leader in the market.
