What is Long Term Survival?
When it comes to long term survival, the key is preparation. Whether you are looking at surviving a natural disaster or an economic collapse, being able to handle whatever situation you find yourself in is essential for success and survival.First and foremost, it’s important to have basic emergency supplies on hand. These can include food, water, clothing, shelter materials and medical supplies. Canned goods, dried fruits and nuts are great for providing nutritious meals that last a long time without going bad, while items such as sleeping bags will give you protection from the elements if needed. Be sure to also stock up on medications like ibuprofen or anti-diarrheal drugs if they are required regularly. Next, it’s important to develop the skills necessary for living off the land when resources become scarce. Knowing how to hunt or fish could be invaluable in a crisis situation where food becomes scarce; learning basic carpentry so that shelter can be built quickly will also help immensely. Additionally, first aid skills can go a long way towards minimizing injury or illness in an emergency situation where medical care may not be readily available. Finally, having some form of self-defense is essential for staying safe against potential threats during an emergency scenario. Firearms may provide a level of security necessary for surviving in dangerous situations; however non-lethal options such as pepper spray or tasers should also be considered depending on the type of threat faced by individuals in their particular area/region/situation. In conclusion: Long-term survival requires careful planning and preparation ahead of time so that one can remain self sufficient during hard times and uncertain situations caused by natural disasters or economic collapses alike. By having basic emergency supplies ready at all times along with developing skills related to living off the land (such as hunting/fishing) and having adequate means of self defense available – individuals will have a better chance at staying safe (and alive.) during any given crisis situation they may face in life.
