What is Britain And Ireland?

Britain and Ireland are two countries that share many commonalities. From the shared language, to their turbulent history, to their relationship through the European Union, these two nations have a deep connection that is both fascinating and complex.The English language is spoken by both Britain and Ireland, and is one of the world’s most recognized languages. The English language has developed differently in different parts of Britain and Ireland over time due to regional dialects, but despite this there is still a strong sense of linguistic unity between them. This unity extends into culture as well; traditional Irish music can be heard throughout Britain, while British poets such as W.B Yeats have had great influence on Irish literature. Both countries also share a long and tumultuous past stretching back centuries. From England’s conquest of Ireland during the Elizabethan era to several conflicts between the two countries including The Troubles in Northern Ireland from 1968 – 1998, there have been numerous events that continue to shape relations between Britain & Ireland today. Despite this difficult past they now enjoy a peaceful relationship with each other which has only been strengthened since joining the European Union together in 1973 (Ireland joined first). This partnership within the EU provides economic benefits for both sides; allowing easier trade agreements & travel opportunities for citizens across Europe without requiring visas or passports when crossing borders. The close ties between Britain & Ireland go beyond just politics or economics though; it’s also seen in everyday life through people’s values & beliefs being shared across both countries which continue to bring them closer together than ever before. With more immigrants coming from all over Europe into either nation due to Brexit however those bonds could potentially become strained once again so it will be interesting how these changes play out moving forward…
