The Syrian Civilian Conflicts The Syrian conflicts have been occurring since the 15th of March 2011, as a secular revolt against autocracy. It turned out to be more than just a conflict that would be resolved with war.

Some claiming it started of with only peaceful demonstrations then it evolved in to a continuous matter of disasters. While others claimed that they were more than Just 'peaceful demonstrations'. Obviously each discourse has their reasons for believing the truth they want to believe. Yet, what really Is the truth? How can we know who is truthful and who Is not?

Was the media exaggerating? All these questions and more are doubts we all have when we see the news. Especially when It comes to news from the Middle East.

It is hard for others to know the truth since we only

see what the media tends to show us. Who is behind the media? The Syrian conflicts tended to divide its people in to two opposite dominant discourses. According to Michel Faculty, truth, morality and meaning are created through out discourse. Every age has a dominant group of discursive elements that people live In unconsciously.

In relation, Syrian citizens cannot see what Is right through out these conflicts.

Yet, these people have not realized that these conflicts have affected them extremely to a point where it became a group discourse. The negative actions being taken proved the exact opposite of wanting peace. Yet, if their actions are negative, why are they fighting for positive purposes? Is it contravening or contradicting? Triggering the Syrians to fight over what they want In a way that genuinely prove

the opposite. Even though the dominant discourses have power with all the harm they have caused.

Here is still a higher class of power that indirectly controls these discourses which is the government. Nevertheless, peace and love never came from discrimination and non-explication. This is exactly what the government wants; to gain power over its citizens to be able to control their minds and actions. There are two opposite dominant discourses In Syria, the ones whom support the army that Is defending the Syrian government and Its president Basher El Sad and the others whom are supporting the army (FSP) that Is defending the Syrians and looking forward to free Syria.

While both are busy destroying each other for whom ever wins, Syria descended into madness that is getting worse and worse by the day. Apparently as the conflicts prolong, it lead to Syria being surrounded by numerous rebel groups, FSP (Free Syria Army), ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria), and the Kurdish rebels. The FSP (Free Syria Army) Is an armed force that had started since the Syrian conflicts began; they had announced their formation on 29th July 2011 In a video release all over the social media.

FSP perpetually dress in uniformed deserters from the Syrian military who had also called upon the Syrian army to deficiency and join them.

Declaring that they work with demonstrators to bring down the regime ND claimed that all security forces attacking civilians were Justified targets. It has also been stated that FSP has no other goal except the removal of Basher el Sad as president of Syria. In additional, they claimed that the Issue Is

not religious. The FSP groups such as Jubbah al Nausea/ Qaeda, this has a gap between the secular forces fighting the Syrian government and the Salamis groups which often results in deaths.

ISIS (Islamic state of Iraq and Syria) also known as (Dash's) is a rebellious group active in Iraq and Syria. They were established in the early years of the Iraq war. Correspondingly pledged allegiance to AH Qaeda in 2004. The group merged into an umbrella organization of Iraqi rebel groups on 2006 under the title of the Islamic State of Iraq.

The group was constituted of and supported by a variation of rebel groups, incorporating its predecessor organization, the Unexamined Sahara Council, AH Qaeda, Jays al Father, June al Casaba and etc. ND other circles whose population is of Sunnis faith. It intended to establish a Caliphate in the Sunnis dominated groups, which later prolonged in Syria. Throughout the on going of the Syrian civil conflicts, he group had been fundamentally present in the Syrian governesses of Ar Iraqi, Idle and Aleph.

This Islamic state has been acknowledged to be responsible for the deaths of thousands of civilians. Their main target is to turn the country in to an Islamic country based on Islamic rules (Shari's). Since February 2013, Kurdish rebels have become more involved with Syria and its conflicts.

Unlike the other two that were mentioned, the Kurdish rebels stood by the Syrian opposition against the regime and signed military and political agreements with opposition groups.

Several rebel leaders had considered the longing to establish a Syrian state that is led by Islamic moralities and laws. This caused the rest to fear

the idea and fight for Syria to be a free democratic country not based on the Islamic rules (Shari's). "We used to be secular, and we called for democratic principles like elections and free speech.

But now, more and more groups are Islamic" Quoted by an activist from Homos Revolutionary Council while noting the rise of Islamic rebel groups.

Radical Salamis dynamic has appeared within the opposition. There is Jihads presence inside Syria, and the opposition rouses Sad's support base and confuses the U. S involvement in the conflict. Yet, Sad used the Shadiest as a threat to build support for the regime amongst the Latent, certain Sunnis, and Christian communities.

Deliberately aimed to discourage middle and upper class Sunnis from Joining the conflicts.

In comparison to uprisings in Libya, Tunisia and Egypt the Syrian conflicts faced a much superior threat of Jihads infiltration. Several Jihad foundations currently operating in Syria have been sponsored by the Sad regime for over three decades. Yet in 2011 they have turned against their former regime allies and are today cooperating with local Shadiest. Held by a revolutionary spirit, several foreign fighters* that have entered Syria are youth who contributed in revolutions in their home countries.

They claim they are coming to aid of their revolutionary colleagues and helping to push forward the spirit of the Arab Spring.

Yet, they entered Syria to fight for a global Jihads ideology. These entire rebel groups are causing nothing but negative and terrible thing to the people and the country. They made suicide attacks n neighborhoods, car bombing at Syrian security forces buildings, suicide attacks against police building and the Syrian forces

building, car bomb targeting a Syrian military unit, capturing and killing men who were accused of being Syrian security churches and hospitals, kidnapping and murdering Syrian television presenters, and etc.

All these tremendous actions are distracting them from realizing that these negative and awful actions resolve nothing. It is critically obvious that all these Syrian rebel groups would progressively get worse, ostensible in their points of view the eager link is the quitter which gives the winner the power.

Quoted by Loyally Masked "We see this as a new stage with the formation of this large, respectable group, and we hope that all the forces on the ground will unify," he said. "The umbrella does not matter to us; the principles of the revolution do. What the rebel groups seem to neglect is that they are fighting for what they want, but what about the rest of the people that had not Joined any army or even considered volunteering to take not even chaos but so little as harm. There terrible actions caused a great majority of Syrians to become refugees.

Rebellious groups claim they fight for peace, yet their actions and their consequences caused anything but peace to the country. The great historic and tourist place in Aleph has been destroyed.

Claiming they love their country and want the best for it, logically any patriot will not have the heart to cause such a disaster. Not forgetting all the deaths, murder, rapping and etc. That they have caused.

Who really is the enemy here? The Syrian civilians ran away from the Syrian rebels. Which in most cases for the patriots and army forces, the

only Job they have is to protect and keep their country and its civilians safe. Yet, they failed on accomplishing that and caused their country to get destroyed in every aspect.

As human beings we tend to have expectations towards specific matters.

In comparison, the rebels are busy fighting for what they think is best for the country. Half of the rebellions know that what they are doing is not right and the other half tend to believe that this is "religiously' right. Although there are two different matters in this case, but non of them actually matter because, despite of their beliefs if its right or not, they will continue these disasters because in the stereotypical area they come room these actions are power.

Getting to the conclusion that even though the civilians had expectations from the rebel groups, they got disappointed. No one can get them to stop this way of resolving issues because they never knew another way. They made a spectacle out of themselves and it affected the way they portrayed reality.

Doubting that anything can change this atrocious habit as a result the neighboring countries are either incapable of help or are silently watching and enjoying these conflicts. Quoted in the New York Times magazine "Israel and US enjoying the spectacle as Syria descends into suicide... Whoever becomes the ruler of a city that is accustomed to freedom and pretext for rebellion in the name of its former freedom and age-old costumes, which are never forgotten despite the passage of time or any benefits it has received. No matter what the ruler does or what precautions he takes, the inhabitants

will never forget that freedom or those customs- unless they are separated or dispersed.

.. " - Machiavelli, The Prince. The Syrians that are fighting for the removal of Basher el Sad forgot all the good things he did for his people and concentrated on what their selfish selves ant.

Syria was a peaceful country and also one of the few Middle Eastern countries that had no conflicts, governmental, religious issues. Yet who has power? And who "observing others". It marked the transition to a disciplinary power, with "every movement supervised and all events recorded. " As a result of this surveillance is acceptance of regulations and docility.

The more a person observes, the more power a person gains. By observing each step taken and each moment lived, knowledge in addition can cause a person to truly have power against who ever are observed.

By observing them, you indirectly study the inner thoughts and the actions of the people. Causing control and power being accomplished. Basher el Sad gained power over his citizens. He observed their actions well, and followed their lead.

Till, when he saw how harsh they got upon him and refused him while he was being polite and UN-harmful, he decided that his people did not deserve politeness from them and decided to turn the table around. However, in all directions whether it is the Sad or any rebel group, they each claim to have power and are stubbornly unwilling to accept defeat.

Are they using power correctly? No, they are not. With their selfish decisions they not only destroyed Syria and killed thousands of people as if they are killing ants, they

also made fools out of themselves in from of the world. Power, in true definition, is having control and being able to handle situations correctly with out any disadvantages.

Syrians Basher el Sad and its rebel groups clearly are misusing the term 'power'. Being watched by other countries, indeed Syria is breaking the hearts of millions out there, but it is also making fools out of themselves. Who really is the enemy of Syria?

Elaborating that thought widely, all those who are fighting are Syrians. Each rebel groups if they are not all consisting of Syrian citizens, they are consisting of different background but also including many Syrians being Joined with these forces.

Resulting to the fact that, Syria is its own enemy. Power can be seen as an Art. Power in comparison to Art, comes in different colors, qualities and productions. Since all Syrians caused different kinds of spectacles appearing on the media and becoming the producers of media, they also come in different forms of Art. As mentioned before, anything can be seen as an Art.

Yet, is power in Syria and the producers of media in Syria an art? Can they really be considered as artists? Grievously they cannot, not even 1%.

According to Merriam- Webster online dictionary, Artists are those who produce Art and Art is specifically qualified to be something beautiful or can be Just ordinary. The Syrian conflicts and the media producers are unequivocally beautiful or even are 'Just ordinary. They are brutal, negative and anything but beautiful. Nevertheless, making an art out of misery is terrible and unwanted worldwide. Just like all the other countries, Syria has its

enormous history.

Yet, unlike the other countries in the Middle East, Syria has one of the greatest historical sites and it is well known for that.

The history of Syria matters a lot; it represents how long ago the Syrian civilization developed. What is more extensive is that these historic sites hold stories that till now and passed by generations. Till now days, Syrian media uses these sites in their films and other television shows. These sites are made up of remarkably old vintage (hundreds of years old) houses, markets, buildings, assistants and many more traditional and cultural sites.

Syrian media uses these historic sites to cause the viewer to feel nostalgia while watching the life style in in this case they are two completely different and opposing. It can be related a couple of years ago before the Syrian conflicts have start, in fact there might have been a great amount of relation between both. Since the history still lived in Syria and the civilians were delighted (before most of them became refugees). The end of history is memory, nostalgia, and stories told through out the generations.

These inflicts, sooner or later, eventually they will end and when they do they will become part of our memory 'The heaviest weight - What if some day or night a demon were to steal into your loneliest loneliness and say to you: 'This life as you now live it and have lived it you will have to live once again and innumerable times again; and there will be nothing new in it, but very pain and every Joy and every thought and sigh and everything unspeakably

small or great in your life must return to you, all in the same succession and sequence - even this spider and this moonlight between the trees, and even this moment and I myself.

The eternal hourglass of existence is turned over again and again, and you with it, speck of dust! Would you not throw yourself down and gnash your teeth and curse the demon who spoke thus? Or have you once experienced a tremendous moment when you would have answered him: You are a god, and never have I heard anything more divine. ' If this thought gained power over you, as you are it would transform and possibly crush you; the question in each and every thing, 'Do you want this again and innumerable times again? Would lie on your actions as the heaviest weight!

Or how well disposed would you have to become to yourself and to life to long for nothing more fervently than for this ultimate eternal confirmation and seal? (Nietzsche 2001 94-195) There are different TV reporters/ media broadcasters presenting these conflicts worldwide. Each reporter is showing the news from either side of the story. Making the viewer indirectly believe that what he is seeing is right. Yet, it is hard for the viewers to really know the truth in such matter.

Therefore, we believe what the media wants us to believe. Power of media, it caused memory definitely, but it is a false Emory.

When part of the truth is hidden the memory become false. Which in the Syria conflict case, the viewers worldwide have a memory for this tragic cause regardless of them knowing the exact

truth.

Another spectacle to this cause can be, Shock and Awe. Clarifying to this further more, it has been over two year and eight months since these civil conflicts have occurred. Most of the historic and tourist places in the country have been destroyed. Syria not only lost their history but also lost the hope of its citizens. Syrians do not want to be living in the streets and losing each other every day.
