Similarities and Differences Between Employees Essay Example
Workforce diversity means similarities and differences among employees in terms of age, cultural background, physical abilities, race and gender.
The following are how I can manage my employees
Firstly, I will acknowledge and respect cultural difference: that is addressing the existence of diverse cultural background within the team and the necessity of navigation those differences in order to optimize team performance.
Secondly, Establishing norms for the team. This key is simply to get everyone to contribute to the formation of the norms, that is setting rules in the organization to help team work.
Again,developing a team identify and outline roles: In this step,it is the breakdown of my common goals into actionable steps and outline each individual roles and responsibilities. It helps reduces misunderstanding and lets everyone knows that their contribution matter.
Furthermore,building trust and rapport among the workforce: This is cre
...ating an environment where the team feels safe so that they can better collaborate with each other,respecting each other and having a common goal to help build unity within a team.
Lastly,corporating with local law enforcement
Corporate Social Responsibility(C.S.R)Â is defined as the type of international private business self-regulation that aims to contribute to societal goals of charitable nature by engaging in or supporting volunteering or ethically-oriented practices.
The following are the factors the propel them to engage in CRS.
- Moral Obligation: The companies engage in C.S.R because they believe it is their duty to be a good citizen and “do the right thing”.
- For Reputation: Most companies uses C.S.R to improve the reputation and company image to strengthen the brand, in order to demonstrate moral and it is because it could even raise the company’s stock value. Example is MTN.
- License to
operate: Many companies only engage in CSR because they are forced to do since they need to follow regulations and permission from governments,communities and other stakeholders to be able to operate or conduct business.
- A person who is ready to take charge of any challenge that comes his or her way. This challenge can be in a god or bad form.
- Utilitarian Theory: This is a theory that focuses on the results or the consequences of ones action.
- Yes of course, it is because been honest sometimes can make you an individual lose some opportunity which may or might never comes your way so need to be smart in order to find solution out of those issues.
- No I wont. This is because rejecting the previous offers which are 20 times the transport fare tells a lot about my integrity,but if I do, it gives them hope that I can still be influence by any means in order for a work to be done.
