The movement of a sail boat relies on the relationship between the wind and the water in respect to the sail and boat. This concept is referred to as sailing, which involves the management of a boat using its foils, or sails, to control its direction and speed by manipulating the wave force of the wind on the rigging, rudder, centre board, and keel.
