Most of them also believe that they live in the most powerful and unique place in the whole world. The fact that Americans invent automobile is misunderstood by most people but is not true. Although Henry Ford discovered the automobile assembly line, some great automobile inventions such as the electric, steam and gasoline-powered vehicles were invented in German, France and England.

Another characteristic of American people is that they are welcoming to other people. An impression or thinking that Americans are racist is not correct. Even if there are some cases few of racism that exit, but it is wrong to say that all American are racist. There is no cultural racism in the country and in fact, American is one few countries in the world with best model of multicultural experience. Americans are also known to be forgiving people who likes to focus on the future, leaving past mistakes behind.

Many Americans are also known to be money oriented but have bad spending habits. The spendthrift nature of Americans is a characteristic that is not always addressed, although it has affected the people negatively. Most people in the country have poor spending habits starting from preliminary school levels, all the way to old age. This is seen on the huge debts on their credit card and students loans they burden themselves with, to the big masons they live on even though it is hard for them to afford.

The fact that the country is developed and standards of living are high, does not mean that

his citizens are also happy. It is argued that many Americans are particularly unhappy. This argument is second by many people to be true. Many American residents are sad and stressed, which is a bad thing because they would like be happy. It is an awkward case because American is one the few countries in the whole world that have the right to pursue happiness stipulated in their constitution. Americans have not worked out the difference between getting happiness and pursue happiness. The truth is that majority American nations are not happy as most believe. They assume they need the talent to pursue their happiness, and they expect to achieve it at a certain level. They always end up disappointed when things do not go as expected. In summary, it is true to say that many Americans are poorly paid, overworked, overburdened and isolate themselves from each other and the rest of the world. They case a capitalist narrow dream that is difficult to achieve, leaving some responsibilities that can have great effects on the society.
