The element of Plot where the greatest interest in the story is / The turning point. Characters have an epiphany or there is "the big" battle.

The element of Plot that comes after the Climax. The details, the explanations, that bring the story to a close. Tension eases; however , the final outcome of the story is not yet fully worked out.

A character that struggles against a force outside of him/herself, such as nature, a physical obstacle, or another character.
