Even though teachers give more than they receive, they still don't get appreciated of their hard work. Students sometimes complain about the way a teacher teaches or the way he or she runs the class. Regardless of what teachers go through to help students succeed, teachers end up being the bad guy after all. For example, a friend of mine who is a teacher in a public school used to help a student after each period. The student didn't pass the course because he didn't get the material right. The student thus, ends up blaming the teacher for failing to teach the material the right way to the student.

Many teachers have side jobs to support their families due to the limited income they receive from teaching. Some teachers become coaches, some drive school buses, others pick up extra shifts in restaurants and many teaches get involved in clubs after school to get the extra pay they deserve.

I believe the more income a teacher would receive the better performance they would deliver. A low income sometimes forces teachers to teach the subject normally without effort. Raising the pay on the other hand would increase the chances that the teacher would perform better due to the increase in their salary.

I believe that by raising teachers' salaries, our education would be improve towards the better in terms of comprehending everything that goes around us. It is essential to raise teachers' salary where education is the number one priority.
